Warrior Princesses of Improv Cil Stengel, Eve Smyth and Kyndra Laughery will present “We 3 Spies” — an improvised story in the style of 1960s British spy shows. Shows are set for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 1-2, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at the Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Toad, Ashland. The Hamazons will deliver a full-length improvised story filled with evil masterminds, dry wit, mod gear and cutting-edge technology from the 1960s. Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegre

Advanced and intermediate students from the folk dance troupe dressed in authentic costumes will showcase dances from regions in Mexico at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in the auditorium at Central Medford High School, 815 S. Oakdale Ave. Special guests Ballet Folklorico Angles de Mexico de Aurelia Ramos, Ricardo Manzo and Cenaro Zaracoza will also perform. Teen Musical Theater of Oregon

TMTO’s production of the rollicking, family-friendly Broadway hit “Newsies” is based on the 1992 Disney film and inspired by the Newsboys’ strike of 1899. This energetic musical follows captivating newsboy Jack Kelly and a crew of young newsies as they take on the giants of the publishing world by going on strike and fighting for their rights. With Tony Award-winning music and lyrics are by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, with book by Harvey Fierstein. Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2 and Friday, March 8, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3, and Saturday, March 9, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. Darlingside

Boston-based quartet Darlingside brings its lush choral harmonies alongside featured special guest River Whyless, another string-based band, to perform a mix of traditional folk, indie rock, chamber pop and Americana at 8 p.m. Monday, March 4, in the Music Recital Hall, 450 S. Mountain Ave., at Southern Oregon University in Ashland. Both bands have performed NPR Tiny Desk Concerts and have been featured prominently as World Cafe “Essential and Emerging Artists.” Admission is $30, $15 for full-time students.
