Hydrant flush may cause discoloration

    Routine flushing of the fire system at 492 Crowson Road today may cause slight discoloration of water in the nearby neighborhood, according to a city press release.

    The discoloration is harmless and should go away after running the faucet for a few minutes,

    The flush is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10.

    If the discoloration does not go away or for answers to any questions or concerns, contact the Ashland Water Division at 541-488-5353.
