Lost Maven puts "raw back into rock," according to the band's slogan.
The Ashland groups features vocalists Greta Gardiner and Veronica DeWitt, who also take turns on guitar, bass and keyboard, along with lead guitarist Matt Grubb and drummer Scott Mangicaro. The quartet will present its grungy, psychedelic rock at 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at Cebolla Bar & Grill, 1951 Ashland St., Ashland. Country-rock band The Stamps and a new Ashland project, High Phive, also will perform at the New Year's Eve event.
Lost Maven released its debut album, "Hungry Souls," earlier this month. The eclectic album, available to download free at www.lostmaven.com, features rock music steeped in folk, punk, blues and hip-hop styles.
