EAGLE POINT — The Ashland boys golf team combined to shoot a score of 440 and finish in seventh place at the Eagle Point Golf Tournament on a rainy Thursday afternoon at the Eagle Point Golf Club.
A total of 14 groups that comprised of golfers from 14 different schools took part in the event, with seven teams having a full squad of golfers finishing the round.
Churchill finished with a round-low team score of 364. Phoenix (384) and Eagle Point (396) rounded out the top three team scores on the day.
Craig Ronne, Klamath Union’s lone representative, shot a 76 to finish atop the individual leaderboard.
Senior Kevin Iriawan finished with a score of 104 to come in as Ashland’s best individual score.
Sophomore Gus Senn (107), junior Jonathan Ferreira (108) and Sam Gander (121) rounded out the Grizzlies’ quartet that took part in the tournament.
